My Imaginary Bunker

In the piece "My Imaginary Bunker," author Megan Bergman writes about how we as a society do very little to help combat climate change and that if we don't combat it, we or our children will have to face the consequences. Even though Bergman downplays her efforts in protecting our environment I think that she does a lot. She is a vegetarian, drives a hybrid car, farms her own vegetables, drinks out of jars, and recycles. I can only cross off one of the above from my environment friendly actions, but if more people were to act in more conscientious ways like Bergman than that can truly make a difference. I think that we should all supplement our "armchair activism," with some life changes or actual activism, because that can help us preserve our environment and keep the earth cool.
